Privacy
A PDF can carry your name, the software
you used, the dates you worked on it, the title of an
earlier draft and the keywords you gave it. All of it
travels with the file when you send it to someone.
Are you sure you want to
remove the document metadata? The title, author,
subject, keywords, software names, dates and any
entries of your own will all be gone from the
PDF you download. Your original file is not
touched.
Metadata is not the same as the content. Text
printed on the page — including a name in a
letterhead — stays exactly where it is.
